Brilliant, love these Sanjeeta. I’m with you – whereas I adore & love cooking with rich creams & butters, I don’t actually love indulging in such rich tastes (probably why I’m only now dabbling in the great big world of baking & dessert making, as I’ve spent all my cooking career in Entree’s & Mains I think). Wow! They look exactly like the real thing. Are you sure these are a lightened up version??? Yummy. I love digestive biscuits. Hard to find here in the US but I ate them so often as a kid in Canada.

@Tiffany, I thought Digestive biscuits are very popular everywhere..these are very common in India. Made with high fiber food ingredients such as rice bran, barley etc these are better option than the refined flour biscuits.
They look perfect and I can’t see anything in that ingredient list that wouldn’t work for me. They may taste different but I bet they do taste JUST as good. Wonderful recipe.

What a great alternative to the fatty, chocolatey ones! A few balls of each in a cellophane bag make a great Christmas present too!
